How we handle your personal data, in short.

What data we process
- Applications: name, email, phone and what you share about yourself, the team and the company in the application form.
- The portal: your profile (name, bio, photo, LinkedIn), posts and comments you publish, and event registrations.
- The contact form: name, email and your message.
- Newsletters and mailings: name, email and which emails have been sent to you.
Why we process it
- To assess your application and run the program — this is necessary for the agreement between us.
- To operate the founder portal and communicate with participants, mentors and partners.
- To answer inquiries and send relevant information from Atlas. You can unsubscribe from general mailings with one click — the unsubscribe link is in every email.
How long we keep it
- Applications that don't lead to admission are deleted no later than 12 months after the admission round ends, unless you consent to us keeping it for later batches.
- Participant data is kept for as long as you're part of the Atlas network. You can ask us to delete your profile at any time.
- Contact form inquiries are deleted once handled and no longer needed.
Who has access
- The Atlas team has access to the data as part of running the program. We never sell data.
- We use data processors for operations (hosting, email delivery). Data processing agreements are in place, and data is processed within the EEA or with a valid transfer basis.
Your rights
- You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and to object to or restrict the processing.
- You can withdraw consent at any time, and you have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
